During the 10:30am Solemn Mass on Sunday 25th February 2018, Archbishop Anthony Fisher OP, instituted 30 men from various parishes around the Archdiocese of Sydney into the Ministry of Acolytes. The General Instruction of the Roman Missal, no. 98, outlines that: "The acolyte is instituted to serve at the altar and to assist the priest and deacon. 2018 Red Mass

On Monday 29th January, the Archbishop of Sydney, Most Rev. Anthony Fisher OP, presided over the Annual Red Mass which marked the beginning of the 2018 Law term.
