For one day only, the World Youth Day Cross and Icon are returning to Sydney, offering a rare and powerful moment of grace for our city. When the Cross and Icon last visited, thousands of Sydneysiders gathered in prayer, celebration, and reverence.

We invite you once again to be part of this unforgettable encounter.

Join us for Mass at St Mary’s Cathedral at 5:30 PM on Thursday, 4 December, celebrated by Archbishop Anthony Fisher OP, along with the Auxiliary Bishops and Fr. Chris Ryan MGL, who accompanied the Cross and Icon across Australia in 2007-2008 in the lead-up to WYD08.

After Mass, stay for a special reflection from Fr. Chris and Katie Prejean McGrady, and take the opportunity to venerate the WYD Cross.
