Memorial of Saint Josephine Bakhita Parishioners and Visitors are welcome to attend both physically and virtually the 1:10pm Mass on Tuesday 8th Feburary to commemorate St Bakhita's Feast Day. The patron saint of Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking, St Josephine Bakhita was born in Sudan in 1869 and was enslaved as a child. She lived a life of torture until eventually being freed. Despite her struggles she committed her life to God and served him faithfully by working effectively to free other girls and women from slavery.
