Your family and loved ones linked to St Mary's Cathedral forever by the dedication of a commemorative stone.
You can help us restore our beautiful St Mary's Cathedral by dedicating one or more of our stones as part of the on-going conservation work.
Some years ago, several thousand stones in the spires and Southern facade were dedicated by supporters who took the opportunity to identify their family's connection with the Cathedral.
The Cathedral stones now available for dedication are on our Western facade in College Street, the location of our beautiful new bronze statues of Saint Mary of the Cross.
Your $300 donation will allow for the cleaning and restoration of the sandstone blocks to maintain this wonderful heritage building. You will receive a handsome certificate recording the gift and according to your wishes, each stone can be dedicated to your family, your children, your parents and grandparents or in your own name.
Each A4 size certificate is signed by the Dean of St Mary's Cathedral, Fr Paul Hilder and mailed to you in a special folder ready for framing.
The certificate will be a testimony to your generosity of spirit, and your vision on the significance of conserving a treasured icon such as St Mary's.
